Dear Clients,
As you know, the real person and legal entity data controllers who employ more than 50 employees (on an annual basis) or whose annual financial balance sheet totals more than TRY 25 million turnover, as well as the real person and legal entity data controllers residing outside Turkey were under obligation to register with the Data Controllers Registry (VERBIS) until 30 September 2019.
As per the announcement of the Turkish Data Protection Authority dated 5 September 2019, such deadline has been extended to 31 December 2019, with its decision dated 3 September 2019 and numbered 2019/265.
