REGARDING THE TIME EXTENSION FOR VERBIS REGISTRATION

The decision of the Personal Data Protection Board ("Board") numbered 2020/482 regarding "The Time Extension for Registering with Data Controllers' Registry Information System ("VERBIS") ("Decision") is published on the official website of the Personal Data Protection Authority. Accordingly, the deadline for the data controllers to fulfil their obligations of registration with and notification to VERBIS is extended until the dates provided below:

The Decision is taken acknowledging the adverse effects of Covid-19 pandemic on the preparation process of the personal data inventories thus allowing more time for data controllers to duly carry out the process.
